Advertiser Agreement

This agreement covers advertising and sponsorships in The Salt Lake Valley newsletter and on thesaltlakevalley.com. By booking a placement you agree to these terms.

Placements & billing

• Ad spots are booked and paid through Stripe. Subscription plans bill monthly until canceled; one-time placements are charged once.
• Plans with a stated minimum term (for example, the 6-month Local Legend) run for that term, then continue month-to-month until canceled.
• You provide accurate business information and the rights to any logos, images, and copy you submit.

Creative & approval

• You may submit your own creative or have us design it. We may edit for fit and clarity.
• We reserve the right to decline or remove any ad that is misleading, illegal, unsafe, or a poor fit for our readers, with a refund of any prepaid amount for unrun placements.
• Paid placements are clearly labeled as advertising. Editorial coverage is separate and not for sale.

Performance

We share reasonable performance data (such as clicks) through your advertiser portal. We do not guarantee any specific level of impressions, clicks, leads, or sales. Results depend on your offer and creative.

Cancellation & refunds

Cancel a subscription anytime; it stops at the end of the current billing period. For a specific issue placement, email us before that issue is sent and we'll reschedule or refund the unrun portion. We don't refund placements that have already run.

Liability

You are responsible for your offer and for honoring it. You agree to indemnify The Salt Lake Valley against claims arising from your ad or your business. Our total liability for any placement is limited to the amount you paid for it.
