Catch the Bees’ final home weekend in South Jordan
The Salt Lake Bees play three Pacific Coast League baseball games against Round Rock to close their 2026 home schedule. Friday includes a 9/11 Tribute and a postgame kids run. Saturday is Bee Charitable Night with fireworks and another kids run. Sunday is Fan Appreciation Night, with a Bluey meet-and-greet.

Pioneer Theatre Company opens Kimberly Belflower’s play about five high school students reading The Crucible and questioning the adults around them. The production has moved to Westminster University’s Jay W. Lees Courage Theatre.

Jubilate’s chorus and orchestra perform Mozart’s Requiem in a free 9/11 memorial concert at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The performance is open to the public and does not require an RSVP.

Royal Bliss returns to Sandy Amphitheater with The Tom Petty Tribute Experience, a full set built from Tom Petty songs. Gates open one hour before the outdoor show.

Find Utah’s strangest sculpture garden behind 500 South
Gilgal Sculpture Garden sits in the middle of a Salt Lake City block behind homes and businesses. The city park contains 12 original sculptures and more than 70 stones engraved with scripture, poems, and literary passages.

Give it 30 minutes and use the free walking-tour brochure at the garden. The carved stone sphinx is the piece most first-time visitors come to see.⚠️ Heads up: The entrance is easy to miss because the garden sits behind the buildings along 500 South.

West Jordan gives dogs the Ron Wood Park splash pad Saturday, Sep 12, from 9-11:10am. Large-dog sessions run first, followed by dogs 40 pounds and under. Registration is required, each adult may bring one dog, and proof of rabies vaccination is required.
The 9/11 Project in South Jordan
The free 9/11 Project runs daily from 9am-8pm through Monday, Sep 14, at the USU Bastian Agricultural Center, 2100 W 11400 S. The annual exhibit honors the people who responded on September 11 and teaches the day’s history.
Grillfest on Midvale Main
Grillfest takes over Historic Main Street in Midvale Saturday, Sep 12, from noon-10:30pm with food vendors, artisan booths, medieval combat, professional wrestling, and metal bands. The outdoor street festival is free; the indoor concert at The Pearl is ticketed.
