The Salt Lake ValleySMS Terms
1. The program
The Salt Lake Valley Local Deals is a recurring marketing text program from The Salt Lake Valley. We text Salt Lake County deals that end soon, ticket on-sale alerts, and occasional news about the The Salt Lake Valley giveaway.
2. How you join
You join by entering your cell number on thesaltlakevalley.com and tapping the sign-up button, or by texting DEALS to our number. Either way, we text you once to confirm. You're only added after you reply Y. Joining is never a condition of any purchase.
3. How often
Up to 8 messages a month, usually no more than 2 a week. We send between 10am and 8pm Mountain Time, Monday through Saturday. Replies to your own texts (like HELP) can come at any time.
4. Cost
The program is free. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
5. Stopping and help
- Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You'll get one text confirming you're out, and no more after that. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT.
- Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
- To rejoin after stopping, reply START or sign up again on the website.
6. Giveaway entries
Confirming your number earns 5 bonus entries in the monthly giveaway, once per person. You don't need to join the text program to enter. See the official rules for the free ways to enter.
7. Carriers
Supported on major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Your information
We use your number only to send the texts you signed up for. We don't sell or share mobile numbers or text opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Our text provider handles the numbers only to deliver messages for us. More in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may change these terms or end the program. If the change affects you, we'll tell you by text first.
