Eight Salt Lake County restaurants have posted 2026 Thanksgiving dinners for November 26, three places sell dinners to reheat at home, and two turkey trots run that morning. Little America's ballroom buffet is sold out, and so is Grand America's. On October 26, Urban Hill, Rouser, Adelaide and The Salt Republic still had tables for four.
Urban Hill, at 510 South 300 West, sets out roasted free-range turkey, prime rib, Idaho trout with dill and almonds, butternut squash mac and cheese, candied yams with marshmallow and pecans, and blue corn and green chile cornbread. The buffet also has shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon, deviled eggs and brie and wild mushroom tartlets. Kids: a child price for ages 5 to 12, and kids 4 and under eat free.
Rouser, at 2 South 400 West, runs waffle, crepe, omelet, bagel and smoothie stations all day beside tri tip, prime rib, maple-glazed ham and herb-brined turkey off its charcoal Josper grill, with a s'mores station, a pie table and live music. Its to-go box for two holds turkey breast, ham, potato puree, a delicata squash and Brussels sprout gratin, candied yams, Parker House rolls, pumpkin pie and a s'mores kit. Kids: a child price for ages 5 to 12, and kids 4 and under eat free.
Adelaide, the brasserie in the Le Meridien hotel at 131 South 300 West, serves a three-course prix-fixe from mid-afternoon into the evening. Mains include citrus-brined turkey breast with braised turkey leg and cornbread dressing, grilled beef short rib and roasted salmon, with kabocha squash soup or a potato rosti with smoked trout to start and bread pudding, pumpkin tart or chocolate pecan pie after, and vegan dishes are marked. Kids: their own three courses, with mac and cheese bites, then sliced turkey, chicken strips or bucatini, then pumpkin tart.
The Salt Republic, the lobby restaurant in the Hyatt at 170 South West Temple, serves applewood smoked turkey breast and whipped potatoes in a three-course family-style dinner that opens with cheese and crackers and ends with pumpkin galette. It starts mid-afternoon and runs into the evening. Kids: a child price for ages 4 to 12, and kids under 4 eat free.
Hub & Spoke, at 1291 South 1100 East, puts roasted turkey, glazed ham, stuffing and candied yams next to diner plates: sweet potato waffles with sweet tea brined fried chicken, a mini Kentucky Hot Brown, eggs Benedict and waffles with strawberries. Desserts are apple and pumpkin pie, cheesecakes and gluten-free brownies, and drip coffee, soda and juice come with the buffet. Kids: one rate for kids under 12 and a lower one for kids under 5, and the buffet has waffles with strawberries, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage.
Magleby's runs its Thanksgiving buffet at Siempre, an event venue in Draper, with roasted turkey, slow-roasted prime rib, two chicken dishes, four fish dishes, house-made stuffing, potatoes and casseroles, and a dessert table of cakes and pies. It runs from late morning to mid-afternoon. Kids: the page lists a child rate but no age cutoff, and seniors and military have their own rate.
Little America fills its Grand Ballroom at 500 South Main with a carving station for turkey, maple-glazed ham and herb-crusted prime rib, peel-and-eat shrimp and smoked salmon on ice, a pie station, and a crepe and ice cream bar. Kids: a children's station with chicken fingers, mini corn dogs and mac and cheese, and kids 4 and under eat free.
Grand America packs ready-to-heat dinners for two, four or eight: herb-roasted turkey breast, brown sugar ham, sourdough stuffing, mashed potatoes, broccolini and baby carrots, cranberry citrus relish, rolls, pumpkin pie and the hotel's bread pudding, with heating instructions included. Its sit-down buffet at Laurel Brasserie showed as sold out as of Oct. 26.
The Full Thanksgiving Feast feeds 4 to 6: roasted turkey breast and gravy, croissant and brioche stuffing, whipped sweet potatoes with butter streusel, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables with a balsamic honey glaze, cranberry relish and herbed rolls, in one labeled box with a folder of heating steps and a timeline for the day. Everything But the Bird is the same box without the turkey. Pies to add include pumpkin with a cream cheese swirl, salted caramel apple, maple honey pecan, French silk and key lime.
Utah Food Bank's 5K and 10K starts at the Sandy Promenade, 10085 South Centennial Parkway, on Thanksgiving morning, November 26. It is open to all ages, costumes are welcome, and strollers are allowed on the course. Kids riding in a stroller or wagon do not pay, but only paid runners get a race shirt.
Solitude runs a marked mountain 5K and a one-mile hike and kids' fun run from Moonbeam Lodge early on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, 2026. Finishers get homemade cinnamon rolls while they last, donuts, fruit and warm drinks, and there are prizes for the top man, top woman and best dressed, plus a raffle that includes Thanksgiving fixings.
With young kids: kids 4 and under eat free at Urban Hill and Rouser, Adelaide has its own kids' menu, and Hub & Spoke's buffet has waffles with strawberries.
For an evening meal: Adelaide's prix-fixe and The Salt Republic's family-style dinner both run into the evening.
With no reservation: Hub & Spoke seats walk-ins on its outdoor patio, and on Thanksgiving Day Little America seats walk-ins first come at its Lucky H Buffet and The Coffee Shop.
In the south valley: Magleby's buffet at Siempre in Draper, or a Gourmandise feast picked up at its Draper bakery.
Feeding eight at home: Grand America's to-go dinner for eight.
Dates to know: November 13 is the last day to cancel a Gourmandise feast for a full refund, and November 14 is its order deadline. Rouser's to-go orders close November 23. November 25 is pickup day for Rouser, Gourmandise and Grand America, and the last day for Utah Human Race packets. On November 26, Grand America hands out dinners at the curb again, and both turkey trots run.
