South Jordan runs along the Jordan River in the south-central valley and has about 77,000 people. It incorporated in 1935, and the master-planned Daybreak community now covers its western half. Daybreak is where the Salt Lake Bees moved, to The Ballpark at America First Square, which hosted its first game on April 8, 2025. Oquirrh Lake and the Jordan River Parkway are the outdoor anchors.

The Salt Lake Bees' ballpark in Daybreak becomes a walk-through light show with a 60-foot tree synced to music, light tunnels and a nine-hole mini golf course. Entry is by timed evening ticket, Wednesdays have a four-ticket family deal for $48, and it is closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
